Founded in June of 2008 by Kiko and Maria, our passion to study and teach languages guarantees you the best learning possible since not only are we the owners but also the teachers.

Who is Kiko at El Instituto Ingles Europeo?
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Kiko is a second-generation Filipino-American and graduated from California’s top-ranked state university system.
He grew up near the film studios and worked for an Oscar-winning actor/producer at Warner Brothers after graduating. He is involved in film to this day, teaching English to Spanish directors and actors, preparing them for Hollywood meetings and casting readings.
But it was his love for languages and other cultures that brought him to Madrid. He opened his own academy in 2009 and now speaks five languages: English, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian and Filipino.
His students include primary and high school students, and multinational bankers, lawyers, engineers, university professors, teachers, entrepreneurs, etc.
Classes with Kiko are dynamic, unique: 90% is conversation regardless of level. He designs his own class material, tailor-made for each student's academic or professional needs. Proof of his excellent work is from students who have been with him for eight years now!
He has taught people from Google, Instituto de Empresa, Louis Vuitton, Credit Suisse, Burger King, Vodafone, Iberia, and has proofread and translated screenplays, contracts, documents, reports, manuals and emails into English and/or Spanish.
